BOOKING POLICIES

For all appointments to be approved a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. If deposit is not paid, the appointment will not be booked and can be given to someone else without notice. If you are to rebook at your appointment, the deposit will roll over to your next booking. If you do not rebook the deposit will be taken off your total. 

GUESTS & CHILDREN AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

Due to the nature of our services and insurance policies, Lacuna Aesthetics is a child-free studio. We kindly ask that you come to your appointment alone.


If you arrive with a child, your appointment will be rescheduled, and your deposit will be forfeited.


If your child is old enough to sit unsupervised in the waiting area, they are more than welcome to do so; however, we are not responsible for their care or safety during your appointment.


For insurance reasons and the limited space in our treatment rooms, we cannot accommodate guests or children inside the service area.

CONFIRMATION MESSAGE

72 hours prior to your appointment you will receive a text message to confirm your appointment. Please reply ASAP to avoid any cancellation fees.

LATE CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Cancellations (this includes rescheduling) within 48 hours of your appointment will result in your deposit being forfeited. If you wish to rebook, a new deposit will be required.


If this occurs more than once, you will be required to pay the full appointment amount as a cancellation fee, plus a new deposit to secure any future bookings.


Prepaid treatments: all policies still apply - the penalised amount will be deducted from what you have paid for the treatment. The remaining balance will need to be paid at your next appointment.

APPOINTMENT CHANGES

Your deposit is transferable to another date only once within 4 weeks of your original appointment, after that you will lose your deposit and a new deposit is required.

NO SHOWS

No shows are NOT tolerated. Your deposit will be forfeited, and you’ll need to pay the remaining cost of the appointment as a fee. If you have a package, a treatment will be redeemed. 

A new deposit is required to rebook.

If this happens again, you will be blacklisted and unable to book in the future.


Clients who are 10 minutes or more late will either be treated as a no show and be rescheduled or receive their treatment in the allocated time left, only if possible. If this is the case, quality of treatment cannot be guaranteed.


Appointments that are cancelled or needing to be rescheduled within 3 hours of your appointment will be treated as a no show.

TREATMENT PREPARATION

Certain treatments may require specific preparation prior to your appointment. This will be advised to you either in your consultation form or at the time of booking. If you arrive to your appointment and have not followed the preparation for treatment correctly, your appointment will be rescheduled/cancelled and your deposit forfeited. To rebook a new deposit will be required.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards have an expiration of 3 years from purchase date. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash. If you have received a gift card all cancellation and no show policies still apply. The penalised amount will be deducted from your gift card. 

We understand that things can come up last minute, but as a small business late cancellations can cause a big impact which is why these policies are in place.
